Nehemiah: Chosen to Rebuild Jerusalem's Wall, Week 4

Our theme for the year is Built to Obey. We'll be looking at lots of different people in the Bible who were given seemingly impossible tasks, but they chose obedience and God did amazing things through them!  We'll be learning this year that obedience is hardobedience is specificobedience is a choiceobedience is a witness, and obedience brings blessings.


During this unit we will be studying Nehemiah and his obedience to rebuilding Jerusalem's wall. Nehemiah was devoted to God, prayer, and God's chosen people. Nehemiah: Chosen to Rebuild Jerusalem's Wall, Week 3

Our theme for the year is Built to Obey. 1) Take the next two weeks and read through the book of Nehemiah as a family. Read and discuss one chapter each day.

2) Read Nehemiah 9 together. Follow the Israelite's example and have a family worship time that includes asking forgiveness for wrongs you've each done, praising God for the things He's done and who He is, and asking God to help you be a family who loves and serves God.
